52 Wednesdays – 17|Fifty-Two {Simple}

It’s that time of year: end of school, graduation pictures and invitations, baby dedications, weddings, family reunions.  We’ve been running crazy.  So when I saw that this week’s theme was “Simple”, I actually breathed a sigh of relief.  It’s pretty bad when my weekly photo project has to remind me to take some time, slow down, and enjoy the simple things in life.

So I took a walk.  By myself!

Life should be slow and savored.

Simple.

Speaking of simple….. or simply lovely…

Marla Misclevitz of Simply Splendid Images, a  Portland, Oregon Photographer, is the next talented lady in our photography circle.  Stop by and see what simply splendid things she brings to the group this week!

What a nice thought – and serene photographs – speak totally to this week’s theme & they’re so crisp & clean, i can smell spring in the air when looking at them!

Such a simple beauty in nature. These are beautiful and wonderful to treasure in your solitude. Lovely!

i agree fully, traca. thank you for sharing the peace of this walk i would love to take :) these images are full of serenity and beauty. the light, the fragility, the simplicity feel so palpable. lovely.

These are lovely.

What a wonderful thing to do – a walk by yourself! That sounds like heaven and what a perfect way to slow down and look at what’s around you. Great captures! And thanks for the reminder ;-)

Lovely images, we always need to take time out for ourselves and breathe!

I love each of these but especially the second. Simple…but not with the spider web weaved around it.
