52 Wednesdays – 14|Fifty-Two {Nature}

I have never lived in a city or even in “town” except for the two years I was at Tarleton.  We live by a river, I grew up on a creek, or we were always out at the ranch, so I’ve always been surrounded by nature.  But this week we found ourselves surrounded by a totally different kind of “nature”.  We went to the coast over the long Easter weekend and spent 3 days in a house right on the beach.  I hardly got my camera out of the bag, but I did have a great time capturing our week on Instagram.  So this week I’m simply sharing my Instagram shots taken with my old 3G iPhone!

The boardwalk over the sand dunes.

Almost dark and they still don’t want to leave.

Headed home after a day at the beach

Looking back at the gulf.

My kids called this the palm tree path.

End of a great day

This counts as “nature”, right? It used to be a lime…

Easter sunrise. A little church time right on the beach.

“Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” – Acts 1:11

Another instagram user this week, I LOVE it! I also love that you decided to just use your camera phone on your get-away to be more present with your family. Definitely a sign of a woman who know what is most important in life. These are beautiful and the key lime pie one was too funny. =) Lastly, the image about church on the beach made my heart yearn to do such a thing again as it’s just been too long since the last time I experienced that. Completely happy with church within walls, there’s just something really inspiring and freeing about worshiping amongst the splendor of His creation.

beautiful beach images! and yes, I LOVE instagram…I think we were thinking the same this week. :) I love that long boardwalk, so pretty.

Thanks, everyone, for the love this week! It was a great week and we so enjoyed our little Easter getaway. Yay for Instagram!
